Delphi Enhanced for the New
Millennium i-Delphi brings the
Delphi method to a new peak of efficiency
and effectiveness. Anyone with a web browser and Internet connection can
participate in an i-Delphi project, regardless of location or time zone.
Specialized facilities, equipment, and software are unnecessary. i-Delphi's
new web-based software provides
all functions needed for successful i-Delphi projects: information dissemination,
anonymous interaction, response collection, and immediate feedback. Panelists
can participate simultaneously or at their convenience. Cost and
scheduling complexities associated with meetings are eliminated. Delphi projects
are better when conducted with web technology rather than meetings because all
panelist interactions are anonymous and all inhibitions associated with
meetings are avoided. i-Delphi's
server-based software was designed so projects evolve with speed and flexibility, just as in
meetings. Browsers
enable panelists to provide contributions in any useful way, from
numbers to free-form text. Each active project is continuously managed by a
consultant/facilitator to assure that full benefits of the i-Delphi
system are realized. i-Delphi's software
provides immediate feedback in various forms including tabulations and summaries of panelists'
input. That enables iterations, the heart of the Delphi
method, to be accomplished more quickly and effectively than ever before. Eliminating
traditional constraints of distance, time, and cost greatly enhances the
likelihood that desired panel members can and will participate.
Please note that this version of these pages was prepared for browsers which, like
the one you're using now, lack frame-handling capability. Full access to this website and
participation in i-Delphi projects require a frames-capable
browser, such as a recent version of Internet Explorer or Netscape.
